Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry at Holy Ghost strives to connect our young people in junior and senior high school with their parish by welcoming their full participation in liturgical, spiritual and social gatherings. Senior High School students meet most Sundays at 11:30 am. Junior High faith formation students meet Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m.

This year, both groups will focus on Celebrating the Lectionary and how the Sunday readings and Gospel relate to our lives. In addition, we participate in Diocesan events whenever possible, including Junior High Rally each spring and Senior High Diocesan Youth Convention every summer. The Youth Ministry department also encourages attendance at Diocesan Youth Retreats and coordinates biennial pilgrimages to the National Catholic Youth Conference for senior high teens that may be interested. Our Youth Advisory Council includes all parents and teens who want to be a part of this consultative committee. The phone line to youth ministry is always open 24/7.
